okcoky;

The 720 is an awesome machine air-cooled or water-cooled.
You will not be disappointed with it.  They can handle whatever you throw at them

FYI: the 3D_Mark score is for benchmarking and if the scores are too low, it may point you in a direction to take to reslove problems.
You could OC the clock speeds and run it at max for benchmarking, however for every day use, a stable machine is better than one slightly OC'ed and not so stable.

There has been a lot of discussion on DCF about the 720 and the overclocking capabilities of it.

Bottom line, for every day use and gaming the stability is more important.  You could get it to score 500-1000 points better on 'mark' but you should look at the whole picture.

You can also find a lot of good info on DCF ... welcome to the world of XPS

PS  On a side note:
       Please study this link for  Folding-at-Home it is for a great cause to help humanity

If you leave your PC on all the time this link has a software you can install to have it use the idle_CPU time to crunch WUs (Work Units) helping Stanford University research to try to find cures to diseases like Alzheimer's, Huntington's, Lou Gehrigs

if you have any questions please ask.  The project currently runs in almost 100 countries, has over 80,000 Teams consisting of Millions of CPUs.  Team_XPS currently has a few International members too!!!
Our Team_XPS started 3 months ago at the bottom and has since moved in the low 300s Rank.  We have over 50 registered members of which more than 30 are active.  We have been able to compete with and take over teams much larger in size.

Thanx in advance TIA

Peace
