5 monitors needed

I need to puchase workstations that support 5 connected monitors. I see the quad cards. what is the best way to handle this with a warranteed Dell machine?   thanks.   g

Do you want seperate programs on each monitor? if so a splitter will not work.

So what you are looking for is a system that will support 3 video cards with dual outputs. What are the requiremnts for the video cards, such as do they need to be PCI-e or PCI, what resolution are you planning to run with on the monitors.

Yes...1280 by 1024 DVI or VGA, Will the 3 PCI cards conflict? Can they work together and extend the desktop?

not really sure about that across 5 monitors. normally each card can drive two monitors per card. gonna post a message in another board and see if i can get you an answer.
