Adding 2nd video card
I haven't even received my XPS 600 yet (arrives Tuesday) and I'm already disappointed with the video card I ordered with it. (standard 6800). I ordered a bunch of new games and received them yesterday and am worried I'll be displeased with the gaming result. I should have spent the extra $200 and got the 7800 GTX. Oh well, live and learn. To my question; Can I now purchase the new 7900 GT card (when it comes out) and add it, as a second card to my rig and see increased performance or should I swap the two cards? If a second (unlike) card is possible, will I have to purchase ant additional hardware to perform this function?
Thanx in advance,
Bob C.

Thank you sir. Much appreciate the reply. I think I'll take your advice. Try what I have (for now) and upgrade to a single 7900 (when available), then go from there. BTW, what exactly will SLI enable me to do, much better performance, I presume.
As we speak, I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my PC. It's 4:24 Eastern time and no site of them. Their web site says its "out for delivery". I'm getting nervous.
Thanks,
Bob C.
