Adding Different Types of RAM

I have the standard 128MB RAM module that came with my Dimension 2400. I would like to add an additional 512MB, bringing the total to 640MB. I am not sure, however, if my old memory is DDR. The module I am planning to purchase is. Can I have a 128MB SDRAM module and a 512MB DDRSDRAM module running at once?

For the best information on RAM for your system, go to Crucial website and use their memory selector to find correct memory and the proper configurations for your system.

Yes, you can add a 512, and yes, it is DDR.
