Thank you, I did add a 200 gig Maxtor hard drive.

I went and got the update A04.

In the bios, do you know on the hard drive (auto and Unknown) If I use auto I have to f1 to continue the reboot and unknown selected works fine. Is this the corrent method. N/A shows up for the size of the drives. I did use an ATA/133 Maxtor PCI controller. I guess the reason I'm asking is because when I Click on a file and Send to. The new drive is not listed. but is list in my computer.

You only need to upgrade your BIOS if you are having a problem that would be fixed by the update. If you look at the README for the current BIOS version (A04), you'll see the following list:

- Update support for newer Processors.
- Support bridged AGP video cards.
- Prevent system hang when booting in a 10Mbit high traffic environment.
- Alter reporting of PCI memory space in ACPI.
- Change AC power loss state when system is being assembled.
- Alter USB code in POST to prevent unneeded processing.
- Speed up S3 resume time.
- Prevent possible dead PS/2 Keyboard when Diagnostic L2 Cache Test is run with USB turned off.
- Updated the copyright to 2003.
- Added UDMA support for 48-bit LBA hard drives larger than 137GB.

If you need any of these fixes, go to the downloads area, select FlashBIOS updates and download R71461.EXE, Run it and it will update your BIOS.

try to clear the NVRAM & load setup defaults option, ALT F, ALT E, ALT B. ( Make sure the Num,Caps,Scroll Locks are toggled first).
