Without knowing which model computer you have it is impossible to answer your question. But, if everything is running fine, that you likely do not need to upgrade your BIOS. BIOS upgrades are only necessary if the upgrade provides support for new hardware you are planning to add or if it provides a fix for a problem you are having. Because of the slight risk involved in upgrading the BIOS, the general rule - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" - applies.
