booting from a partition without OS

I did add a non-OS partition to the BootMagic menu with my current OS and all I get now is a blank, black screen.  What can I do?

How can I fix the problem without reinstalling the OS?

Try to stick with one conference. In fact, this is really an OS question, so you'd be better off in the software forums.
