booting problems
I installed Avery software on my Dell Dimension L800 R running Wndows 2000. I have not been able to boot my computer since. The username/password screen is as far as it will boot. My question is how to get to the BIOS while booting, what action to take, and is this the right approach. I plan to just uninstall the Avery software when I can get in. Any plan of attack is welcomed outside of this. There is something preventing the proper boot process and I do not know it. Please post any process which may save the day. Thank you very much.

Why are you trying to BOOT into your BIOS?
If you are booting to the windows Login then your computer is boooting fine. The problem then resides into windows.
Try booting into winows safe mode. Hit F8 and select Safe Mode while your computer is booting.....and try logging in as Administrator into 2000. Then you should have permission to remove the Avery software there.
