Bootup Message

On my dimension 8200 I get the message "secondary hard disk 1 not found, strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.  This happens at bootup every time.  How do I fix this?  Thx.

You could have a bad CMOS battery.

Try going into BIOS check your boot options, It will give you that message if you are booting from a hard drive/device that does not exist.  another ideais to go into BIOS and disable the secondary disk normally you can select "auto" so computer can recognize the hard drive but if a secondary hard drive does not exist than you will get that message of not finding secondary hard drive.

Try it out see if it takes away the message.

KomputerDoc.

Try using the Dell Diagnostics to check the secondary hard drive for any signs of failure, instructions for there use should be in your owner's manual..
