Cancel Order

I recently ordered a Dimension 8200. It is in the production stage according to the order status. However, I have been reading the posts in this forum. I do not want to go through the hassle of having some technician come out and replace the fan on a new computer. Can I cancel my order on-line before it is shipped? Where is the link? Thanks.

Hi, I took delivery of my new Dell on Dec. 10th. I have not experienced the fan noise problem. It is a Dimension 8200 running Win XP Pro. You only read about problems at this site, that's because those of us without problems have nothing to post. When considering how many Dell computers are sold the problems are not insurmontable. Many problems are software related due to poorly written programs. There are really few hardware problems. This is my second Dell and the only problems with my first one were operator created. It has served me well for over three years without a hardware problem. I had a number of software issues and driver issues over these years but no hardware issues. HTH

I am running win me on my 8200 and I had problems. The problem is the Datech fan. It has already been replace and the puter is very quiet. It had nothing to do with win xp, with all due respects. Faulty equipment or at least it didn't like the 8200 model from what I am hearing.
