Can't Record Audio
I feel like such an idiot. I cannot figure out how to record sound. The mike is plugged into Line In (Black), Pink give me speaker connection. But the sound is not coming through please help if possible.

A computer mic (and what you need) must be plugged into the "Mic" jack, not the "line in". The computer mic requires a voltage to operate and the only jack that has the voltage is the Mic jack (pink).
There are separate volume controls for Recording and for Playback. The mic control in the Recording may be muted and the reason it doesn't record. When you click on the Volume Control Panel, Click on Options then Properties then select Recording and check the mic section to make sure it's not muted and that the volume control slider is not down (off).
