Cleaning

just how much cleaning is enough?  i have installed regcleanier, registry clean expert, easycleaner 1.7 and also use daily disk cleanup.  i delete the unnecessary files, dup files and some of the problems found with clean expert, but i really dont know what to delete from the file/path reference in registry, since it says not to do it unless you know what you are doing.  now with the easycleaner it takes forever to find the duplicate files, deleted a few after several hours of the prog searching, i wonder why it's working so slow and if something is wrong.  anyone has any experience with it?

whitekwin,

Except for the daily disk cleanup the rest of your efforts are probably a waste of time. Although removing orphan registry entries may make the system more aesthetically clean that have little if any impact on system performance.
