The motherboard that would be compatible, is another Dell OEM BTX 5100 motherboard, because both the motherboard and case has proprietary features.

You can find a 5100 Dell OEM motherboard here for $99.99, free S&H or call Dell Spare Parts @ 1-800-357-3355 ext 7269937, M-F 7 to 7 CDT [have system's "Service Tag handy].
You could also, try browsing eBay for a replacement.

More info: the board was already replaced under warranty less than one year ago. What appears to be a serial number starts with 0J8885. Does this mean that part number J8885 will also work? Did they give me the correct board?
Thanks

If J8885 is listed on the motherboard, then that's the part number.
J8885 is the correct P/N for a 5100 motherboard, as is the TD217 Motherboard Service Kit.
