Dell Display Manager Compatible Monitors

Question

Hi All

I'm looking to purchase a new desktop and was quite impressed with the Dell Display Manager software. So I was wondering if anyone knows exactly which monitors are compatible with the Dell Display Manager, especially ultrasharp monitors? I couldn't find a confirmed list on the website. The only one that I know for sure is the Dell U2913WM however the screen on that is far too long for my uses.

Dell Display Manager Monitor Application (version A00-00) is compatible with the following Ultrasharp monitor models:

Dell U2212HM
Dell U2413
Dell U2713H
Dell U2913WM
Dell U3014
Dell U2713HM

If you are planning to buy one of our Ultrasharp Monitors, please reply with the Exact Model Number of the Monitor that matches your need and I will check the compatibility of that monitor with this application.

Hi Thanks for the quick response. You have mentioned pretty much every Ultrasharp monitor except the two I was looking at lol. Can you please find out If the U2312HM and U2412M are compatible? Thanks

Hi n00b2, These two monitors (viz. U2412M and U2312HM) come with 'Dell Powernap Application'. We have not tried using 'Dell Display Manager Monitor Application' with these monitors.

Thanks for the information. The main reason I liked the Dell Display Manager was because I like the easy arrange feature I saw while using a Dell U2913WM. Do you know of any other softwares that can also perform this feature? If not, do you know if the Dell Display Manager is likely to become compatible with the U2412M or U2312HM, or other even older Dell Monitors with future updates?

Hi n00b2,

If you wish to use a 3rd party application, my personal recommendation is to use “Winsplit Revolution”. This works fine on my Dell 1708FP. You can download “Winsplit Revolution” from here.

i have the last release of Dell Display Manager Monitor and when i use it with my U2212HM, it replies 'not supported'

Are you sure the U2212HM is supported ? Could you tell me witch release are you using ?
