Dell E310 BIOS settings

I recently purchased a Dimension E310 which came with a single 80GB SATA hard drive. I've added a SATA 250GB as a second drive. In the BIOS, the options under "SATA Operation" are:
 
RAID Autodetect / ATA
RAID On
 
I want to use my SATA hard drives in AHCI mode, and on page 105 of the E310 User Manual it states that:

You can set the SATA controller to: RAID Autodetect/AHCI, RAID Autodetect/ATA, or RAID On.
My question: Why isn't my BIOS showing the "RAID Autodetect/ AHCI" option, and is there a way to enable it?

If you don't get an answer here then try posting in the Dimension - Hard Drive forum.  RAID / SATA questions are frequently answered in that venue.
