Dell Precision 690 -- SAS 5/iR Integrated Emb -- Device Cannot Start (Code 10) -- Also FSB Question

I have a Dell Precision 690 w/dual x5355 SL9YM; Perc 5/i Integrated (RP272) w/ 4 Seagate SAS 137GB HDDs; 8x4GB RAM (Risers); ATI AMD V7600 GPU; Vista Ultimate loaded on Seagate SATA HD connected to SATA socket; MB: MY171; BIOS: A07.

SAS 5/iR Integrated Emb and all HD sockets not working. Perc 5/i Integrated works fine.

When I boot sometimes I see the message to enter the SAS Controller SetUp - mostly not. If it does show up and I try to enter it will usually hang (95%), but sometimes gets in (and all looks OK). Vista shows the Device under Storage Controllers as 'Status: This device cannot start. (Code 10).' I have tried to load the current Firmware, but that results in 'No Controller Found, no Controller Flashed.'  Can anyone give me an idea how to fix this?

On the same machine I am getting a Warning from SiSoftware SANDRA stating that my FSB is higher than MaxFSB. FSB is 1333, MaxFSB is sjowing as 1066. The motherboard is an MY171 with BIOS A07. I thought the 0MY171 had a FSB of 1333? It runs x5355 (1333) CPUS fine. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you need to talk to Gold Support.  That 690's SvcTag should get you to them.  I personally suspect the memory density & bus timings are causing it to flake out.
