Desktop Icons changed!
At some point today while I was online, I noticed that most of my desktop icons had changed and they are no longer little pictures. They are now little rectangles with a blue bar going across the top. Most of the icons in my Favorites menu did the same thing. What could have caused this? How do I get them back? I tried restarting the computer and that didn't do anything.
No Events found!

Does the problem go away when you reboot your computer? If so, then this is pretty normal with windows. The icon cache file becomes corrupt during a windows session, but is recreated when you reboot. If you have TweakUI installed, you can use the repair option to rebuild the icon cache file wihtout having to reboot. You can also take a look at the following MS KnowledgeBase article:
