Difference between Dimension 5150 and 9150

Question

Is there any difference between the Dimension 5150 and 9150 if configured the same? If I configure each machine the way I want it the 9150 comes out costing over $200 more. Is there a difference in the 9150 that I am not seeing that makes it superior to the 5150?

yes, off the top of my head:

1) bigger PSU in the 9150 -- so you can run top of the line video cards

2) my 9150 is noticably quieter than my 5150

3) the 9150 sata controller supports AHCI and NCQ, which I don't think is the case with the 5150.

Don't be! I appreciate your reply too! Are you happy with your 9150 then? How is yours configured? I have some concerns about the monitor choice because I've been reading about banding problems with the Ultrasharps.

It was just a warning. Trading in Thank Yous is expressly prohibited in the TOS, paragraph 6g, subsection 9. Further, you can't trade partial units. However, it does count as a Thank You when someone thanks the other person and then gives you grief too... :smileyvery-happy:
