Digital Line Detected

:smileymad:Ok I keep getting this error
 
Digital Line Detected (PBX) : Please verify that your phone line from your computer is directly connected to a standard analog modem or fax line.
Keep getting this when I open my firewall and check the IP addresses who have been tapping in my computer.
 
Can someone tell me (A) what is this? (B) how can fix this problem? (C) Will removing or doing any sorta things that anyone suggest Hurt my computer and will I be able to run in normal start up?

hi, welcome.

the error suggests you have plugged in a digital phone line into your analog modem.

Are you very sure you have not plugged in a digital line like ISDN, or a phone line coming from a pabx ? You need an analog line.

disconnect the digital pbx phone line fdrom the computer and connect a normal analog phone line. then click on start-->run--> type  "msconfig" and click ok.
then click on the startup tab at the top
then unchek everything else except for "ccapp" . then click apply-->ok and restart. that will fix. if still no go. uninstall and reinstall norton.

:smileysad: Welll the problem is this...I am on Cable Modem and my modem is a Motorola so...my line is only cable. I am not plug in with a PBX line or anything. Nothing else is hook up to my computer but this Cable Modem thats it!!!!!!!!!!!
