Dimension 2350 - Broken Integrated Video Socket
I have a totally mangled VGA socket. I have pulled the motherboard, and the socket fell off in my hand. I need to either have a new socket installed, or install a PCI video card replacement.
If I install a video card, will I be able to get the computer up and running enough so that I can disable the intergrated video? Is there a jumper to turn off integrated video?
Am I fragged and need to buy a new motherboard?
Thanks.
Bob

If you go for the new motherboard, you may as well buy a new computer since the cost for the mobo will probably not be worth it for such a low end system. If you ever want to any kind of GPU upgrading on a new system, stay away from the Dim. 2400 and 3000.
