Dimension 4700 PSU
Since my laptops screen went funky i have resurrected my dell dimension 4700 desktop. I would like to get this thing running good, it already runs good actually but i noticed the power supply fan is not running. I ordered a cheap fan this morning clueless about whether it would work. I already took apart the psu once and noticed there is not a pin connector so i will have to cut solder and tape the cords for the new fan. Anyone have suggestion for a different power supply so i do not have to deal with this (i am not computer iliterate but i have never built my own computer). It needs to be a straight swap out with all the connecting cords.

The Dimension 4700 has an open back panel, most standard ATX PSU's, with a either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard connector, with two SATA power connectors and with or without the on/off switch, can be installed.
This power supply can be purchased from most local, or online computer stores.
The procedure for replacing the power supply, are HERE
