Dimension 8400 ram
I have 1GB of ram at the moment in my dimension 8400 ( 2x 512MB ) can i put another 2 slots of this ram into it (
512MB DDR 400 PC3200 )

I freind give me a Dell 8400 to repair it but there was no RAM in it.
I've bought a 512mo ram for Dell 8400 but when i swith the dell on nothing appear on the screen.
Could you confir me that the Dell 8400 need 2x DDR2 RAm to work?

I've add a second RAM in the Dell.
It also have a IDE HDD and A Ide DVDRW.
When a switch the ps on nothing appear on the screen no bios no post etc..
Does the PC need a SATA HDD?
What can be the reason why the pc doesn't show anything on his screen?
I already change the graphic card by a pci card for test.
There is also no Bip....
Does anyone have a idea what can be the problem?
