dimension video card
I need to upgrade the video card on my Pentium lll 128, mb RAM. Will GeForce 4 do an adequate job? What specifics do I need to know to purchase proper product. Gaming use is not the primary function of this computer. But I want something up-to-date. Where are the best places to purchase from? Where can i get a step by step installation guide?

Hi,
With your current setup, it would be waste to go too crazy with the card, your on the right track with your choice, i would suggest the Geforce4 ti4200, it will be more than adequate for every day use, plus it will have plenty of capability to play games if you wish :) just make sure you have an AGP slot on the motherboard first...
What country do you live in? so we can give you options where to purchase from...

Hello,
Thanks for your help. How do I determine if I have an AGP card? I'm in USA

Hi,
Tell us your full system model ( ie, mines a Dimension 8200) and we will be able to tell from that :)
Just for future reference, always include your system model when posting, it makes it much easier to offer the right advice
Living in the U.S will be no problem finding a good store :)
