Disk Cleanup Wont End

Question

I start Disk Cleanup but while it checks how much to get rid of, it never ends....I waited 10 mins which is long compared to other times I have done it.

Any suggestions. Thanks in advance

Try it in safe mode if possible. Some program(s) may be interrupting the clean up process.

thank you ddeerrff, it worked but then how do i delete my compress old files because it doesn't show it in the list of things to delete..
