Dust inside my computer

How do I get the dust out of my computer? I do not have a vacuum. Does pressurized air work? If so, is there any trick to using the air? Thanks

I use a can of compressed air, and a real tiny soft brush (for computers)..works for me

Definitely don't use a vacuum cleaner. You could displace a static charge into your computer then it would be over!

I use a vacuum cleaner all the time. Where is this static charge supposed to come from?

Erik,
Static charges can occur from vacuuming out a computer. It may not happen everytime but once is all it takes. It can fry any electrical component in your computer including processor, motherboard, Sound and video cards, modem, and etc. You can do what you will but it can be very harmful. The best way to clean is with compressed air.
