E510 Don't boot up
Hello
I have a E510 PC about 2-3 months ago. It's a very nice guy.
But about 1 month ago, sometime the Windows don't come up.
The POST Dell logo shows normally, Windows XP logo also shows normally, then screen should blank to show the mouse cursor, but nothing happen after blank it... also keyboard has no action (tried with Num/Capslock key). I waited a long if something happens, but nothing. ... I have to power off pushing power button for more than 3 seconds. ... In the next bootup, windows tell me that the last power on was unsuccesful so give me the options to boot normally or safe mode... Tried all options but no one works.
This problem occurs randomly... When it's happen, I wait a couple of hour, then works fine... But it's not my purpose of having the PC....
I tried to understand reading Event Viewer in Windows but nothing is logged in the system... So I think it's not a software problem or conflict. I have all original parts on the system. Only added a second hard disk from regular market.
Some one experienced same problem?? Please help me
Thank you!

Did the problems started after installing the second HD? If so, check the jumpers on both drives, they should be set to CS, if both drives are from different makers you may need to change the jumpers to master and slave to the second drive. Also, is the ide ribbon connected to the drives corretly? Black end goes to main drive and the grey connector (middle of ribbon) goes to second drive.
Good luck
