It's a form of spyware...probably piggy-backed on the back of KaZaa or some other "shareware" program. You can find all you want to know and more by just running a "Google" search for, "Ezula"...a couple of random samples can be read,
HERE and HERE.

I suggest you download and run AdAware to help clean it up and see what other little nasties you have on your computer.

Well, it's not kazaa. Kazaa just installs Doubleclick and Cyberdoor and is non-functional without either of them.

Hello folks,

I heard my name mentioned in here so thought I would give an update. Ezula is still doing the same old thing, The only things that have changed is that there are many more doing the same thing. Theftware/Spyware is riding piggy back on almost all the most popular downloads.

I would still suggest lavasoft adaware, keep in mind that like an anti-virus it is only as good as the updated ref files. It is a good idea to check back every couple of weeks, or purchase the version that does it for you.

You would also be surprised at the auto-dowloads that you get from places like Gator and IGetnet, If you keep up with the new updates these will be removed also. If you are up to it downlaod another spyware killer called "Spybot -Search & Destroy" I use both .
