Fan Speed Help :( !!
Hi all.
I have a Dell Dimension e520. I am trying to use Speedfan to monitor and control the fan speed.
The problem I am facing is that Speedfan will not detect my CPU fan. I have also tried to use everest to detect the CPU fan also, which results in the same...it does not detect any CPU fan.
The fan is clearly plugged in, and is working at a slow speed. I want to be able to increase it to keep my system cool, as certain its getting a little warm.
Hope someone can help! All the best.

Speedfan unfortunately does not work on most older Dell system. There is not any software that I remember that does.

After an hour or so of tweaking and system adjustments, I was actually able to configure Speedfan to detect PWM fan. So its all running fine now.
I guess my Dell is just about new enough lol.... after a little work.
Thanks though ;)
