Fast init or normal initialize for re-installing windows 7 H710P controller T7600
Reinstalling Windows 7 64bit on T7600 with H710P controller. Does the raid 0 that the OS will be going on need to normal initialize process or fast init? I can't get the drive to be recognized in windows, I've tried to install the controller drivers during the process with no luck.

First, the H710 does not support non-RAID, so you must have configured the disk in a RAID array (I would strongly recommend against any RAID 0 configuration). When you configure the array, simply check the Advanced and Initialize boxes. You don't normally need to wait for the init to complete.
You should be using this driver:
http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01382799M/1/Storage-Controller_Driver_0TM0H_WN32_5.2.222.64_A01.EXE
You must download and run this file to extract the contents, THEN place the contents on a flash drive. When it says it can't find any disks to install to, click on the Load Driver link, then browse to the driver location on the flash drive.
