Firewire card ok for my computer?
Ok, I realize I am being a pest, but I have some more questions.
Does anybody know if the
BELKIN COMPONENTS
IEEE 1394 FireWire PCI Card
is compatible with Windows ME on a Dimension 4300?
My other question is about a DVD RW/R/CD drive i bought. If it says it requires Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro or Home, does that mean that it absolutely will not work on Windows ME?
Thank you soooo much to anyone who responds.

The firewire card should work fine. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=1969&pcount=&Product_Id=148834.
What model DVD burner are you looking at? I suspect it will work fine under ME.
You might want to consider avoiding future headaches and upgrade to XP. ME was probably the worst OS Microsoft put out.

I am looking at this model:
SONY CORPORATION
8X/4X/12X DVD+R/RW / 4X/2X/12X DVD-R/RW / 40X/24X/40X CD-RW
DRU-530A Internal ATAPI/EIDE Dual Drive
Do you know if this one will work on it?
Yea, I am thinking about upgrading...but I would like to try to avoid it for now.
