FOR EXPERTS ONLY! VIDEO PROBLEM!

Hi All
HHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!:smileysad::smileymad::smileysurprised::smileyvery-happy:
I cannot see anything in the monitor. I hear 1 long beep and 2 short ones.
I saw 7 messages of people with the same problem and no solution from any of the replies.
 I, 1. reseated everything, 2. tried a new working memory chip, 3. uninstalled all PCI cards, 4. tried a new AGP video card, 5. installed a new PCI Video Card (of course uninstalling the AGP Card)
6. tried a working Monitor 7. tried booting from a floppy and CD, 8.even disconnected the mouse and keyboard, and still heard those #$%^& beeps with a black.screen.
It is a Pentium IV. OS: Windows XP. The AGP slot is Brown. I was told, that it was a Dell, but I couldn't see any model.and couldn't run System Info because the screen is black.
I GUESS WE NEED AN EXPERT!
I'd really appreciate any help,
Thanks in
advance,
Sincerely
MrWayToGo

Good job on what you've tried, but, well, um, see, we don't know that it's a video problem, other than the screen is dark.  And we don't know it's a Dell.  No bezel?  No sticker with a 5-6 character alpha-numeric code?  'Dell' is silkscreened or etched into all Dell motherboards.  A sticker on the power supply would also say 'Dell'.  No diagnostic lights in the back?  Dells have had those since P3.

All computers can beep, but no lights, no Dell.  (And if it's beeping, the lights would be on.)

I guess I don't qualify as an "expert".   But, there are many users helping users on this forum.  If you want help from whoever will assist you, don't post the way you did.  No one will respond to you.
