Front I/O Panel ?

Question

I just replaced my Front/IO board in what used to be a D4400 (upgraded to D8300 board) and noticed that there were a few extra jacks on the old D4400 I/O board:   INTRUDER Fan CCAGE   What were/are these used for. I also noticed that they are also on the new board (which is for a D8300).

One is for the chassis intrusion detection, which the 8300 doesn't have, but the OptiPlex versions do.

Ah, I see.So is the other one a jack for powering a cooling fan?
