graphical glitches and crashes with Error Code 5300:0119

I have a Dell XPS 430 - CPU Q8200 - RAM 4GB - ATI Radeon HD 4850 - Windows Vista 32

In this past few days I've been experiencing serious problems: whenever I try to open most programs requiring 3D (for example videogames like Plants vs Zombies and GTA Sand Andreas) the system crashes at once, or the programs work for just a few minutes before graphic glitches appear and then the program crashes wih a blue screen.

According to the Diagnostics EXTENDED TEST there is an Error Code 5300:0119 Msg: VIDEO - Failure while writing and reading video memory.

Does is mean that my ATI Radeon HD 4850 broke after just a year? I think that all ATI products come with a 3 years guarantee. What can I do now to fix the problem?

Thanks for any useful information.

I have an HD4850.  From the error report it would appear to be a hardware problem on the card.  If this came with the PC from Dell it is covered under your Dell warranty.  If it was a user add on, there are several different vendors that make this card you will have to check with the specific card vendor for their warranty and support procedures.
