GX110 riser card drivers needed
Anyone know if the riser card in the Optiplex GX110 is a SCSI adapter? Just installed a modem and win98se into an older system I acquired, and no drivers for the expansion riser card on the 98se CD. Need help with this, because I need it running.
Is this something that would be included with the chipset drivers?

There's no communications with the modem, and that is the only thing that I can see causing the problem. I haven't installed the chipset drivers yet. Without the modem, I haev to burn everything to a CD, and transfer using that method. In the device manager, there's no drivers for PCI Card, and PCI Ethernet Controller....
I'm assuming that drivers for this would be included on a Dell install cd, which I do not have.

Only chipset drivers
Lowest version of windows supported was WIN98SE

Try here for all the drivers: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/devices.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=PLX_PNT_P03_GX110&os=W98&osl=EN
One good thing about Dell is that the drivers for even old systems are still aailable!

The modem you installed is probably the "PCI Card" you found in your dev manager. You need to dowload the drivers for that modem to get it working, or install it as a standard 56K V90 might work to.

The PCI bus will not work properly without chipset drivers.
