GX280 PCI-E

Is there an PCI-Express Slot in the GX280 SFF?

if yes, is it possible to plug the following grafic card in this slot?


E-AX700PRO/TVD/256M
ASUS Radeon X700PRO / PCI-E / 256MB
DVI-I / Video-In / TV-Out
PCI-EXPRESS 16X

are you sure? is ther a PCI-E 16x slot?

i think it is only a 1x or 4x, not 16x

Are you sure it is running at 16x and not 4x? Sometimes video cards are backwards compatible. That means that although you paid for the 16x, you're only getting 4x performance. (Not that this is a problem, since in reality, you are maxing out your PC)

The slot is a full 16x slot, however, it's half-height, so you need to be sure to use a half-height card. This excludes the high end videocards as an option.

Also, make sure the card you're adding doesn't use a whole lot of power, as the powersupply in a small form factor chassis is pretty limited and not really upgradable (due to it's unique physical design).
