Help with Graphics card

Hi i just bought a dell3100 about 4 weeks ago and it keeps freezing up on the smalles games can anyone sugest a cheap graphics card to stop this that will fit this pci express slot all will any fit it and what else will i need to do as im totally new to cumputing and old lolol can someone please help me many thanks in advance:smileyhappy:

You can't use a PCI Express video card - that's only an X1 slot. You are limited to a standard, 32-bit PCI video card only.

thanks for your help does this mean i can use any graphics card in the PCi slot i havent a clue what i need

The best you can get is a PCI version of the Geforce 6200. It's an extremly low end card, but better than Intel's video you have now. If you do buy a new card, make sure to install drivers from Nvidia.com, NOT the drivers included with the card. And follow the instructions on these forums for disabling integrated video first.
