Have you clicked on the "Downloads" tab (at the top of the Support page), entered your service tag number, and checked to see if you could download the missing drivers that you need?

Okay, next step is to find out if one ore more slots are malfunctioning.

  1. Remove all devices with a question mark from Device Manager

  2. Shutdown computer

  3. Remove all PCI devices

  4. Check BIOS settings (sorry, I'm not shure about the 8200's BIOS)

  5. Start computer and shutdown again

  6. Put in one PCI device, say the network card (NIC)

  7. Start computer

  8. Check with Device Manager if NIC is showing up, if not, click right mouse button in Device Manger, choose "Search for New Hardware"

  9. If NIC is found, try the next PCI card, if not, start from 1. and put NIC in different slot

  10. If you had no success in any slot, try the same with the audio card, if this fails you can be shure that there is a serious problem with your PCI slots and your computer needs service

One last thing its the pci slots that are not working.  You know the slots where you pluggin your modem, network card and sound card.  In my device manager none of the cards are showing up.

Even after installing the drivers?
I don't think that the PCI slots are not working because XP seems to recognise them but don't know what drivers to install..

Well, that leads my to a quite simple question:
Have you checked if all PCI cards are firmly in their slots?
You might put them out of their slots and put them in again, but don't touch the circuits or connectors of the cards.

I can't install the drivers for lets say the network card because it doesn't even recognize that there is a network card there.  I am so stumped.

Any PCI card is a "PCI input device" so go and search for the drivers according to your system...
Best is you download all the right drivers for the hardware in your system (but only them, not ALL available drivers), install them, reboot and see what happens.
As long you don't provide us with more information about your system I'm afraid this is the best help you can get.

BTW
It may be fancy to write everything in lower case but it certainly doesn't improve readability. No offence meant. ;)

I have flashed my bois tried to install the pci input drivers off of windows xp and also looked on the download section for pci drivers.

Sometimes Windows needs the installation of the drivers to recognise the hardware.
So why not trying to install the right drivers...

I spot here at least 3 PCI devices.
Which of your hardware shows up in device manager anyway?

Yep just checked them all to make sure they where securely in there.   Downloaded all the drivers for the cards and reinstalled them to no luck.  The modem sound and network card just are not recognized.  Does anyone know why in the device manager under other devices only the audio controller and the pci input device would show if all four slots are dead in the water
