How can it be both?

Hi,

I just got the 6600GT AGP for my dell 4600, (My current card is a AGP geforce 5200. I want to install the 6600GT and the directions found here ( http://support.euro.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim4600/en/4600i/sm/parts.htm#1140565) say that I need to press the card lever toward the PCI connector. Now I'm trying to install an AGP card not a PCI... but then again it also talks about this is how you install an AGP card. So basically, what does all this mean? Will my AGP card install correctly into a PCI connector?

Thanks

no because AGP ports and PCI ports are different.  Remember if it does not fit, it does not belong there!

It's not saying anything wrong.

There is a lever behind the AGP slot. You have to pull this lever TOWARDS the PCI slots, then pull the card out.
