How do I change keyboard settings

Question

I have just received my new Dell computer and when setting up the computer I clicked for the keyboard to be US, the problem is I think I should have clicked for it to be UK because I am now unable to get the pounds figure and also the @ is above the 2 instead of where it appears on the keyboard. Can anyone help with this problem please!

Control Panel/ Regional Language Options. Languages tab, Details button. Settings tab, Installed services portion, Add your UK settings Val

Just to add onto what Val said, you also have to click the 'Regional Options' tab in that control panel and make sure it's set correctly at both top and bottom of that screen too. Ron
