How do I disable system check?
Hi all -
When booting up my computer, I would like to bypass that system check(processor, keyboard, mouse, etc) screen as well as the Dell.com logo. I have disabled quiet boot in the Bios Setup but it still appears. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

With the 4100 the best you can accomplish is enabling the Quick Boot option. With this enabled the system will skip over a few tests to shorten the boot up time. Other tests like checking the keyboard, drives, etc can not be disabled.
All the Quiet Boot option does is display a Dell logo when the tests are being performed during boot up. Enabling or disabling it does not effect the boot time.

Hi Majestic,
Neither one of them even showed up before until I did a fresh clean install. I have 2 other computers and it doesn't happen with them. I don't recall changing anything in the past so I don't know why it didn't show up before. It's not really a big deal but I was use to just seeing the WinXP logo when I booted the computer. Thanks for your reply!
