How do you install Drivers
I just reinstalled Windows XP on my Dimension 2400. I can't figure out how to install the drivers for my Ethernet, Multimedia Audio Controller, SM Bus Controller and Video Controller. I have the software that was furnished by Dell but do not know how to install it. I opened the CD but it has a lot of different drivers and I don't know which one or how to install them. Help?

Thanks Bev, I didn't realize that if you dragged you mouse over the drivers that it would tell you which ones that you need. I got everything installed and the computer works great.
I do have one problem, when the computer boots up I have to make a choice of two Microsoft Windows XP. How so I get rid ot the second Microsoft Windows XP?
Thanks
Chuck

Chuck.
Pleased to hear that you have the system working.
Check out either of the following....
Click Start > Run > type msconfig > Click boot .ini tab > Then check all boot paths tab > Click on that.and this will delete the choice that is not desirable > Click apply and reboot system.

Chuck.
Pleased to have helped and thanks for the feedback.
The logo suits my personality, we have three kitties, a ginger tigerstripe, a calico and a brown and silver siamese.
