if a new computer has top of the line hardware in every aspect, graphics board, memory, hardrive, etc., at what point in sophisticated gaming does the cpu really make a difference.  e.g. would there be an actuall perceptible difference in performance between a 3.2 GHZ and a 3.0 or a 3.8 and 3.6 or 3.8 and 3.0 if everything else on the computer were the most advance product available. f. brown, kcmo.
