Actually the Hyperthreading is a option at Point Of Sale. You have to request for hyperthreading to be turned on, otherwise the default setting is OFF, which is how Dell ships. (Unless Specified.) Also, it is to my understanding, that if HT is not turned on BEFORE the OS Install, you have to turn HT on and then Reload the OS. Correct me if I have heard wrong and you know FOR A FACT that is not true. Also you might want to compare your specs on the system at
