Installing a 2nd Hard Drive
I have an XPS 700 running Windows XP pro with all support packages up todate. I'm looking to install a 2nd hard drive. The manual is little help and I've been unable to find a link on the Dell site that provides what I need. Any help or direction would be appricated.

You need a SATA data cable, there should a spare power connector for a second hard drive, inside the case.
After installing the SATA hard drive, check in the System Setup [BIOS], that the SATA port it's connected to, is enabled [on].
For windows to recognize the second hard drive, it must be patitioned, formatted and assigned a drive letter.
