integrated audio

since my computer has integrated audio, rather than a sound card, would this effect preformance? using more ram than by using a sound card ???

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
No, unlike integrated video, integrated audio does not draw upon the
system memory. All the necessary hardware for the integrated audio is
on the motherboard. Integrated video does not include onboard video ram
like AGP video cards, and that is why it must draw upon the system ram
for 3D rendering and other processes.
