Is my computer fast enough for this?

I haven't recieved my Dell XPS 410 yet but, I'm interested in playing Company Of Heroes on it. I looked at the recommended system requirements for the game and they were:

3.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV or equivalent
1 GB RAM
256 MB NVIDIA GeForce(tm) 6800 series or better

My question in this, it says to have a 3.0GHz cpu or equivalent for optimal gameplay but, my XPS has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.4GHz,1066FSB) with 4MB cache. I was wondering if my cpu is equivalent to the 3.0GHz of a single core cpu? Also, my video card is a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS....so do you think I'll be able to play this game fairly well? I'm not much of a computer guy so thats why I have to ask some of you who know this stuff....here are my system specs again...

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.4GHz,1066FSB) with 4MB cache
2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS
250GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200RPM)
48X Combo and 16X DVD+/-RW
Integrated Audio

Yes but not at Max settings and get excellent frame rates... there seems to be a problem with the coding of the game itself, I have the 1GB 7950GX2 video card and the max FPS I got was 52fps.. they released a patch which has helped better frame rates... but everyone from high end to low end computers are complaining about it..

you can read about it all here. http://www.forumplanet.com/planetcompanyofheroes/forum.asp?fid=19918

The MP is suppost to be a joke.. I have installed the game, Installed the patch... ran the Video test in options and thats about it... So can't speak about the game play.

All I can say it read the fourms, and it will give you a better idea of how the game will run on your XPS410

Like I said its how the code was written for the game.. very bad from what i've read, its not the computer.

I get lower frame rates on COH than any other game I've played, and that includes most of the really demanding ones like Oblivion and FEAR.  I am playing this on an XPS600 with dual 7900GTXs plus a Pentium 965.  You will almost certainly need to scale down from maxing out all settings, especially when playing from a "high above" view, there's just so much going on in the game and tons of detail.  On the other hand, unlike many other games this one still seems playable to me even when frame rates dip into the low twenties-high teens.

i love Company of Heroes...its incredible...visuals, everything is destructable and i mean everything...

i'm running the following:

e6700 c2d @ 2.66
4 gigs of 332.5 mhz dual ddr2 ram (4:5)
2 x160 gb hdd @7200 in Raid 0 & seagate 7200.10 baracuda 320 gb
7900 gtx

i play the game on full everything, best sound, best graphic...and it runs nice and smoot...

only trouble i have ever had was big explosion like when a building crumples...it gets a little slow but its unnoticeable...
