Last Call
Ok, this coming thursday i will have the money to purchase the Geforce 6800GT 256MB AGP. I have a Dimension 8200: 250PSU, 2.53GHz, CDROM and DVD drives, 512RAM. I have of course asked this question before, but the people that told me yes were running it on a 3.06GHz. $400 is alot of money to spend, and i just want to make sure i can run this thing. I think i will get it from CompUSA because i heard they have a 21day to return refund no question asked policy. I want the card for BF2, but am still etchy on spending $400 on a may or may not work product.

i resently put in a gforce 6600 gt 128 in my 8400,seem like every since i took out that piece of $##!@! have had some video issuse's.do u know how to tell if your memory is 400 or 533mhz.
p.s. when i play bf2 it sets all video settings at med,so i was thinking bout either the 6800 gt 256 or the 7800.what u think.maybe ill c ya in battle.:smileyindifferent:

newegg has awesome customer service and a good return policy. Don't waste your money at a retail store.
As for brand; BFG, XFX, eVGA are three good brands that come to mind.
