LED Light Is Blinking Amber

I have a Dimension 1100.  When I push the power button, the power light continues to blink yellow and the system never start up. I have unplugged the cord from the power connector, I have checked the voltage selection switch, and I have disconnected the PSU and reconnected it.  Does anyone have any suggestions.

Do you think I need a new PSU?  If so, how do I install it?

destiny931,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Look on the back of the tower at the led diagnostic indicators. What is the color sequence of the led's?

Jesse,
I'm not at the computer that is having problems at this time, however can you tell me what the different combinations of the diagnostic lights mean?

Blinking amber, usually means a power supply problem.  Try a different power supply.

If the system is under warranty, contact Dell Technical Support.

Jesse,
I powered up my pc, the LED light started blinking (yellow), then I looked at the back of the unit for the diagnosic lights and there was no color.  Any suggestions?

Thank you.  I will try a different PSU.
