LOGING ON TROUBLES
ok. so when i just got sp3 and its not letting me log on. and the only user is the GUEST account. And when i click on it it says..
the system can not log you on because of the fallowing error:
- the specified domain either dose not exist or could not be found.
PLZ TRY AGAIN.
and i try again it comes up the same thing.
HELP

Assuming defaults were not changed...
Instead of clicking on Guest, press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice
(or until the login dialog box appears)
enter Administrator as username and leave password blank.

ok im allready installing the softwear so should i stop it???
its 51% done and its takin =g 4 ever

xp sp3 should install in less than 2 hours.
guessing deeper issues are to blame for your troubles.
maybe give us as much detailed info as you can...
dell model, where does the xp installation stall, error messages...

its windows xp sp3 but the whole computeris slow

reinstalling xp sp3 may take an hour or longer for some machines.
