m40 workstation - xp upgrade = STOP:0x0000006F SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
What is this?
During upgrade from win2k to xp, it gets through the initialisation, copying of files and restarts fine.
But then it blue screens as the winxp window with the progress bar is up.
SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
check this check that... blah blah...
STOP: 0x0000006F (0xC000000E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Its an M40 precision mobile workstation (laptop)
I have the latest A11 BIOS installed
1.2g
512mb ram
40gig drive
32mb nvidia vid
dockingstation
(ive tried doing this while removed from docking station as well.)
It mentions to disable caching or shadowing in bios.... can't find a setting for that...??..
Also, I didn't know which board to post this on, so if you know, please tell me.

If you are still in need .. this is a driver error.
Please upgrade Dell machines with CDs from Dell. A device driver is complaining.
